Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
Section 125 Flexible Benefit Plan
Auld & White Constructors (AWC) provides a Benefit Plan that allows participants to use pre-tax dollars to pay their portion of Group Insurance Benefit Plan premiums for AWC’s Medical, Dental, and Vision plans.
Health Insurance
Auld & White Constructors offers three (3) medical plans. Currently, Mayo Clinic is in network for all three plans.
Dental Insurance
Auld & White Constructors offers two dental plans with large networks. The plans cover preventative and diagnostic services at 100%. Basic services such as fillings, repairs, root canals, and extractions are covered at 70%. Major services such as crowns and inlays are covered at 50%.
Vision Insurance
Auld & White also offers a voluntary vision plan.
401k Retirement Plan
Auld & White offers a competitive 401(k) program. Employees may elect to contribute a specific dollar amount or a percentage of pay before Federal and State taxes are withheld.
Matching Program
- 1st 4% employee contributes – Auld & White matches 50% of this amount
- 2nd 4% employee contributes – Auld & White matches 25% of this amount
Profit Sharing Plan
401(k) Profit Sharing
- Contributions are made on a discretionary basis and may vary from year to year based on profitability and/or other factors.
- Contributions are separate from, and in addition to, 401(k) matching funds.
- Contributions are distributed to eligible employees, regardless of whether an employee contributes to the 401(k) plan.
- Profit-sharing funds follow the same vesting schedule as company matching funds.
Life & Disability Insurance
Group Life Insurance
Auld & White provides employees $50,000 of group term life insurance for full-time employees (no cost to the employee).
Supplemental Group Life Insurance
Auld & White offers supplemental group life coverage. Employees may elect an amount up to four times their annual pay ($100,000 of this is guaranteed issue – no health questions).
Short Term Disability Insurance
Auld & White sponsors a voluntary Short Term Disability insurance program. The plan allows an employee to secure a benefit equal to 60% of their pre-disability income for up to 13 weeks.
Long Term Disability Insurance
Auld & White sponsors a voluntary Long Term Disability insurance program. The plan allows an employee to secure a benefit equal to 60% of their pre-disability income.
Educational Assistance
Auld & White will reimburse employees for job-related classes and continuing education programs outside regular working hours.
Employees must be employed with Auld & White for one year and must maintain grades at the level required for graduation or certification.
Additional Information
- Reimbursement is based on course grade(s).
- Books are reimbursed at 50%.
- Maximum yearly reimbursement is $1,500.
